Our Children's Ministry Team is growing and I am pleased to announce that Christ Church has hired a Director for our Early Childhood Ministry - Anne' Erickson! Many of you already know her, because she has been working so closely with you in a volunteer leadership role :). Or you've met her when you've visited the office. I am so excited to now have her as my partner as a member of the Children's Ministry Staff.
Anne' has so much experience to share with our ministry. She has a MA in Elementary Education, she worked in the classroom for 8 years and in home education for 15 year. On top of that, she's served as a Children's Ministry Director for 4 years at two different churches, and she's clocked countless hours as a ministry volunteer. She truly has the passion and knowledge to help our team grow to the next level!
As our Early Childhood Director, Anne' will be working closely with Adventure Camp's Sunday morning Nursery Team, PreK Team and K-2nd Team as well as the CM Staff Assistant & Registration Team. Her focus will begin with our Sunday morning program as it relates to those ages and spread from there as we grow in our new partnership. I will continue as the Director of Children's and Family Ministries and Christ Church.
ALSO we have added Kristen Struyk as our Preteen Ministry Intern for 2014, and Renee Hecker and Jessica Nakoaka as members of our Children's Ministry Staff Assistant Team. All three are students at CUW.
You will see more of each of these wonderful women when you serve on Sunday mornings! I hope you take the time to introduce yourselves and get to know them.
God has put such precious lives in our care - those of our children! And He is equipping us with great volunteers (such as yourselves) and passionate leaders! Please join me in praying for our ministry that God will continue to add to our numbers and provide us with the knowledge and resources we need to keep growing in number and in faith!
